    Hi,

I know SEO Framework creates the breadcrumbs, after the update with the plugin, I received this GSC error code: Breadcrumbs > Either ‘name’ or ‘item.name’ should be specified (in ‘itemListElement’)

The affected URLs are now growing from 6, now to 8. Here’s the affected script for the homepage:

    {“@type”:”BreadcrumbList”,”@id”:”https://fullcolorcleaners.com/#/schema/BreadcrumbList”,”itemListElement”:{“@type”:”ListItem”,”position”:1,”name”:””}},”potentialAction”:

I know that I have to edit the “name”:”” but I can’t seem to find it in the SEO plugin settings.

Do I have to access the backend to edit it?

Need help from the SEO Framework support and the community please.

    Thank you!

    Hello!

It appears your site has no name.

You should either set one at “WP Admin > Settings > General > Site Title” (recommended) or at “SEO Settings > Title Settings > Additions > Site Title”.

After saving, you may need to flush your site’s caches for it to have an effect. Then, Google must recrawl your site to notice the changes, and they will stop reporting this issue.

    I hope this helps. Cheers!

The site title will be the business name, right? Let me try this one in the WP admin settings.

The SEO Framework settings is limited.

    The short answer is “yes.”

You can find the long answer here: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/site-names.

I’m not sure what you mean by “limited.” Do you mean that you cannot access the settings page?

The settings may lock you out because their upgrade was never completed. Try flushing the site’s caches. Also, it’d be best not to use object caching unless you have a good reason to use that — those often bring complications and only improve performance in distinct cases.

Thank you so much for your help! It did worked!

I’ve also seen the Site Title in the SEO settings. My bad.

The site has been crawled and no traces of the same error.

    Thanks again!
