    Hi Yoast-Team,
I use your plugin (free version) for many years now and I am very happy with it so far. Now I have a little problem and hope you are the right people to ask.
For the website mentioned above, which actually not a website, it is just to show the used language, I got an error within google search console:
Either ‘name’ or ‘item.name’ should be specified
When someone hits that site it will be re-directed to the German Home page (Startseite). As I said, it is actually not a real webpage it is just showing the language and that site is not indexed in my xml sidemap (generated from your plugin). For the page …/de/startseite I set breadcrumbs using a your plugin (also for all other pages on my website) For …/de/ it is not possible to set a breadcrumb – name or item-name. So I am not sure why google is complaining about it. The language prefix /de/ is set from the language plugin I use. I followed the steps from your website for using the breadcrumb feature. I added the code to the header.php. It is working fine so far for all “real” pages.
Wordpress, Theme and plugins are up-to-date.
I disabled all plugins except yours and the language plugin and had still the same problem. So, I activated the plugins again.
I thought and hope you are maybe the right people to ask. Can you see anything in your plugin or my website which could cause the issue?
Thank you for your help in advance.

Thanks for reaching out here. If the relevant page where you’re seeing the Either ‘name’ or ‘item.name’ should be specified isn’t the page to be indexed, nor you’re interested to optimize it for search engines for a certain reason, you can ignore the relevant alert in Google Search Console for the relevant page as well.
