You haven’t heard from me because I got distracted by a plugin causing my site to bomb – fixed now (but forgot to re-enable my-hacks so my e-mail address was not present) – and the fact that I installed the hack and cannot get the problem you have/describe. My site validates with wp-mail.
As I recall your particular problem is one of a php session getting added to the link? If that is so, it must be a conflict coming from somewhere else. Look for a hack or plugin that uses/enables session ids.

It is a further mystery as viewing the source does not show the addition of a session id to the link, only upon trying to validate does it do so. Looks more like a bug/limitation in the validator because the link itself is not invalid.

yeah well as it doesnt validate i cannot let it like this cause i cannot continue to add things or make any changes to the site….result is that it will show wrong errors that prpobably dont excist at all…
and why or and/if my index is causing it somehow would be weird cause without the link it validates ,so if no one has a nice answer to this …..

Well, until you track down the conflict I guess you won’t be able to use it as that is the most logical cause because it is not the hack (it does not even use session ids). Try the original index file and add the mail hack and you will see that it will validate, as does my page. The link I have in my index file is:
href="wp-print.php?p=<?php the_ID(); ?>">Print It!

well never mind beel.
i just deleted it so no worries.
i dont think it can be caused by my index,maybe a combination of what i have installed.
but if you cannot solve it and the rest on the forum ….. then its just to difficult for everybody to figure out what the problem was.
so perhaps someday il find another version…..
