Egregious business model

  • So tried the plugin, looked okay, upgraded to Pro. Noticed today that the plugin was deactivated for some reason, so I reactivated it. It shut itself off. Then it said, “Oh, btw, we’ve got a new upgrade to v4.0 you can get AND PAY FOR THE NEW VERSION, but we’ve deactivated v.3. If, oh by the way, you might want to keep running WHAT YOU PAID FOR, you can download something called 3.0 Core”. An upgrade is out so they BREAK YOUR SITE???? And offer you a downgraded to regular 3.0 from 3.0 Pro that I paid for…Nice business model.

    I apologize for the issue. 3.0 Core is the free version of v3, that if you replace the v4.0 update with your site would go back to normal.

    It sounds like you recently purchased though. If it was within the last 365 days, you get a free upgrade to v4 Pro.
