Hello @firasj
Thank you for your review and I am sorry about the issue you experienced with Minification.
The Minify feature is complex and there are a lot of different things that you can do to achieve optimal performance.
1. Auto Minify – There is an option to exclude specific files from being minified. Some files are pre-minified and do not agree with further modification and therefore should be excluded from Minify in Performance>Minify>Advanced>Never Minify following CSS files. The same goes for the JS files.
2. Manual Minify – Manual Minify is a complex process and you need to take into consideration the order of those files. Most of the time there should be no issue with CSS files however, as with the Auto Minify, some files just need to be left out of minification. As for the Render-blocking resources, those files are render-blocking by default before they were minified. W3 Total Cache does have an option to “Eliminate render-blocking CSS by moving it to HTTP body” however that option is available only after upgrading to the Pro version of the plugin.
I am very sorry you never opened a support thread so we can assist you with the configuration or take a look at some similar questions already answered in the forum.
Once again thank you for your review.
