After testing Masteriyo for more than a week I really see Masteriyo as a promising all-in-one LMS and as a alternative to other solutions out there. It’s designed for those who want to sell courses, that’s their focus. You could also use it complementary for coaching and others ideas you’ll will have.
Masteriyo is feature rich, but not overloaded:
Masteriyo LMS extends stepwise their features, seen in their public roadmap and feature request page. What I like is, that all necessary features are included in the Pro version as modules, which you can activate or disable according to your needs. You can start, combine your ideas and extend. Setup is easy and courses are done fast, even with quizzes or assignments. I have the feeling that this plugin is well crafted. The documentation is comprehensive and good structured.
They have also a feature request list, where you could put your ideas or wished features in. A lot of good ideas are around;-)
Theme support: I tested their eLearning and Online Education themes, which are free. Both are fast and a good starting point to see what is possible and how Masteriyo is working. The integration with their own themes and popular ones is completely given. In Gutenberg you can use some blocks and shortcodes.
Friendly and fast support: I had a JS issue in Masteriyo with nginx proxy on my hosting plattform and their support reacted within a few hours, fast in my opinion. The support team is friendly and they examined the issue, came back with a solution, which solved the issue that was not on Masteriyos side…superb.
