.edu email adresses not working

  • Hello WordPress users,

    I have a blog of my own on my personal site and for some reason, a good friend of mine cannot use her .edu email address to post comments, when she uses a non-.edu email adress (such as my mom’s) for posting a comment it works just fine. My mom is ok with her using her email adress but how do I get my blog to accept .edu email addresses?

  • Do you have any moderation words listed in Options -> Discussion ? Is any part of your friend’s .edu email address also one of the moderation words?

    no, nothing is in the moderation box. She did mention she got an error message when she tried to post comments with the .edu email address, so i’ll post the error message when she emails me back with it.
