  • It’s probably in a file called footer.php but without knowing which theme you’re using and without seeing your site it’s impossible to be sure. You can either edit the file using dreamweaver etc, or you can edit the file online using the theme editor in your admin backend.

Ok, but how do i get this footer file into my dreamweaver? It’s on my https://ftp.. I’d need it on my pc somewhere correct? and thank you again

    its in wp-content/themes/themename/

You can attempt to edit it directly from the admin interface under edit theme files.

If you have ftp access then you download the file onto your computer, edit it, and then upload it again. Or am I missing something in what you’re saying, memegan?

No, you both helped ty.. I have just never needed to download anything, only upload from my ftp. So that is where i was stuck. Now though, I’d like to arrange and such the side link.. off to the right of my blog, where you’d see archives, links and such. In which file would that be found. I’ve searched and searched. thnx again in advance.

    The file’s probably called sidebar.php.
