• I don’t know much about how .htaccess files work, but when iThemes Security is editing .htaccess it often breaks the sites. Is WordPress in a subfolder not supported? In my case I have it in a folder named “wp”. Looks like it tries to edit a .htaccess inside the “wp” wordpress folder and not the top level .htaccess like for example W3 Total Cache edits. Will it still protect for example the plugin folder witch is not inside the wp folder?. Do others have problems on WordPress in sub folder installations.
