• I’m writing with a question about the www.remarpro.com site.

At some point when we were building the site, our updates / edits began publishing to a slug rather than just the home page.

So, for example, this is the home page we want:

    https://artactivism.pointpark.edu/54-2/

But, for some reason, now the main web address is going to the original, blank setup page that had originally been going to the page in the above link:

    https://artactivism.pointpark.edu/

Even when we try to delete the slug, WordPress generates one by itself.

We are trying to get the first link above to be the one that people see when they click on https://artactivism.pointpark.edu. This was working originally, and now it is not.

Very confused and would be very grateful for any help.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • In Settings > General the site address should be what you want your visitor to see, I guess https://artactivism.pointpark.edu/.
In Settings > Reading choose to show a static page, and choose the page that contains the content that you want to be on the “home” page which is the site address.

Joy, thank you so much! This was driving me nuts and I fixed it right away with your suggestion.
