    I appreciated the work you’ve done and followed for a while, yet I still have no clarity re: why there are 2 plugins that do parallel things, both written by you.

    Could you pls clarify the distinction between them, why u separated their functionality?

    ??

    Hey @reelism

    Sure, I understand the confusion. Let me try to clarify it.

    First, the Editors Kit was initially built by another developer, and I later took it over. Thus, I have two products that at first kind of look similar, and I agree with your sentiment about them.

    However, EditorsKit mostly focused on improving user productivity inside the editor by offering features such as:

    * Markdown Support
    * Block Guideline
    * Better CSS Class(s) option
    * Set Image Block as Featured Image
    * Drag n Drop featured Image Uploader
    * Code Editor mode Syntax Highlighter
    * Display Block Navigator on Block
    * etc

    (Sure there are some features that has been included in the core itself)

    On the Other side EditorPlus is more to help with designing and creating beautiful and responsive websites. That introduces features such as:

    * CSS Options (some are added in core now)
    * Responsive controls for all CSS options/features
    * Blocks
    * Shape Divider
    * Icons
    * Adding Custom CSS
    * Animations
    * Typography
    * etc

    —–

    That said, I have some good plans for both, and you will start seeing updates soon. Stay tuned, and if you have any feature ideas and suggestions, please share.

    Thanks,
    Munir

    Thanks for your reply, IMHO really seems like best strategy would be to combine them into one plugin, and go with the better overlapping functionality.

    Thank you for your suggestions. I will surely think about it as I am planning for next year. ??

    I just asked a similar question on this Editors Kit vs Editor Plus as well. I miss borders as option in EditorsKit which we use. But now I may lose some styling dropping EditorsKit and moving on to this plugin just to get these design features. Perhaps we can use both.. not sure, you tell us. But I agree combining the two would even be better.

    Hey @rhand

    Thanks for your input; I am still thinking about it and am working on some excellent premium features for EditorPlus. You can use both now since both offer different features. If, in the future, I combine both; you will get full guidelines on how to disable one.

    Thanks

    Thanks @munirkamal , appreciate it. And that I am able to use both is good to hear too. Also hope it will not conflict when borders work even better with general blocks support in the future . Is that the case you think?
