    Since upgrading to 7.11.42, and still with .43 any editors logging in get a blank page instead of the dashboard. No problem for admins. Disabling the plugin returns to normal operation.

  • This is happening on one of our sites too. Again disabling plugin fixes the issue.

    I have a similar problem with me after today’s update.
    With the admin account I log in and everything is fine, but the other accounts cannot see the dashboard, just a blank screen.

    For us, it was a little bit weird. Somehow the update on the WP Google Maps core plugin deactivated our WP Google Maps – Pro plugin. After updating the core plugin today, we had to re-activate the pro plugin, before our Editors could access the dashboard.

    The latest updates also don’t allow changing the Google API key from settings. When trying to save the change I get 401 error on the dashboard. I’m pretty sure this issue is related.

    Same error here

    Same problem as OP on several sites. Editors are met with a blank Dashboard. Sites running Pro plugin seem unaffected.

    Same here.
    And one more – as admin I can’t change setting “Lowest level of access to the map editor”.

    Version 7.11.40 works fine

    Hotfix

    Edit file legacy-core.php
    At line 777 comment this code

    if(!$wpgmza->isUserAllowedToEdit())
    	{
    		http_response_code(401);
    		exit;
    	}

    Same error here.

    Same error for me ??

    Yes. Same here on several sites.

    Same here. Is there an update with a fix on the way?

    Same with us. I manage a large and very busy funeral home site with multiple editors and users that log into the back-end. Drove me nuts because as admin I could see everything and they were calling saying they could not. Lots of plugins on the site, so I can’t deactivate all of them at once. Finally found the issue with WP Google Maps plugin. Deactivated and all users are working.

    Please fix asap. The map is important for families and friends who attend the funerals and need directions.

    I removed this plugin for my client and replaced it with a simple embed for now, they weren’t willing to wait any longer for a fix or a response about this problem.

    Experiencing same error as well as unable to change “Lowest level of access to the map editor”.

    Any update on when a fix will be released?

    Help!!
