Editors & admins don't get emails

    Hi,

    When a normal/editor user saves a post as pending revision, neither admins nor editors get emails about this. If user is set as revisor, same happens, no alert email is sent.
    However, as soon as a post is approved, author/revisor get a confirmation email about this.
    Settings have “always” set on both email-dropdowns.
    Is this a bug, or are there things we should be aware of?

    We’re running latest wp, 3.6.1, and latest plugin, 1.1.11.

    Tested using only the revisionary plugin, and the twenty thirteen theme.

    Revisionary 1.1.12 includes the following fixes:

    • Fixed : Email notifications were not sent on Pending Revision submission under some configurations
    • Fixed : Email notifications were not sent upon Scheduled Revision publishing unless Press Permit / Role Scoper active and Scheduled Revision Monitors group populated

    Hi there, after going through every single wordpress workflow plugin on the planet I have found this one to be the best for my needs. However, I’m having some troubles with notifications.

    I’m getting an email for a change to an existing page however if the reviser creates a new page and “submits it for review” then no notification is received at all by the members of the approval level.

    How can I make sure a notification is sent for a new page which needs to be reviewed as well as a change to an existing page?

    This issue has existed for a long time and still exists in 1.1.12. It’s a fundamental part of Revisionary so really needs to be fixed. Looking at the code I can see why emails aren’t being sent but could do with the plugin author advising the best way to fix this. My analysis is in the following post:
