Editor Reverted to 2.0 version???

  • I went into the admin section of my blog today, and the editor looks like it did not before I upgraded to 2.1. And I can only enter posts by source code(HTML). I have no visual editor capabilities at all. THis is a real pain in the butt.

    Also, when I upgraded, I chose the privacy option that search bots couldn’t find my blog, and the dashboard view stripped any links ot outside sources….now those are back even though I have the privacy option still checked.

    WHat the heck has happened??? I have even reloaded a fresh copy of the entire wp-includes directory for 2.1 to try to resolve. I cleared my cash, and cookies etc. Now what?

    I found the issue. After digging more into the posts here, I found that there is a check-mark in my user profile for entering posts in visual mode. That needed to be checked. Somehow I must have unchecked it.

    I would have never guessed that one. Geesh.
