Editor problems

Hi all.

I have a problem. When i installed wordpress the standard editor did not give enough functions to create some structured and pretty website, i believe. So i installed the CKeditor. The problem i have with the editor is that when i create text and pictures it looks ok in the editor but when i publish or update the site, it does not look as it did in the editor. Text and pictures are not aligned, they change location e.c.t.

So basically what i see in the editor is not equal as to what i can expect to see on my pages. How can i fix this problem, or get a new editor that does not have this problem? I hope someone can help me, this is really a frustration problem to have.

Also text format are not the same on all pages, what can i do about that? to fix it i need to delete the entire page and start from scratch, and that is not really a solution.

My web browser is Safari and i run wordpress 3.1.1
