Editor panel showing up in right column instead of in middle

  • When we went to edit a page today we noticed that our editor opens mosty normally with the page title field showing as normal but under that there is nothing. The left column and right column look normal except that we noticed the text area for the normal editor to edit the page text (labeled CONTENT along with the Add Media button, etc.) is now in the right column.

    Any idea what could cause this? All plugins are up to date, WP is at 6.1.1 and I did a reinstall of WP just to see if that would help.

  • Is this the classic editor? If so panels are easily moved by accident. There are two triangle arrows at the top right corner of each panel and you can change the view order of them by moving them up and down. You can also click and drag the top of the panel to another column.
