A client uses a plugin to email uses when new documents have been uploaded. The issue is the button in the editor only has the option to insert a shortcode. Understandably this doesn’t work in an email. They have to go back and forth from the downloads area, editing each document and copying the links, which is a real pain.

Is there an option I’m missing that would allow the document link to be conveniently inserted when using the visual editor? If not could another button “Insert Link” be added to the editor popup beside “Insert Shortcode.”

    Many Thanks.

    Hello @zerogravity,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

Unfortunately, the plugin does not have this option, I’m sorry!
I opened a ticket with our development team regarding this feature and it will be added in our future update.

    Warm regards,
    Beatrice.
