• I’ve not had much luck here before but I’m really hoping someone can help me this time. I have a WordPress site that seems to have something going on that’s beyond my understanding – and I really need to figure out the fix.

    The site is:
    https://www.repsplan.com/

My problem is that there are portions of the site that live in the actual php files for the theme (it’s iThemes’s theme, Blue Essence, used in a child theme) – the problem is not with the theme files so I can’t get support there. The issue is that this text must be changed in the editor in the php files – if you look on all the major pages there is text that appears in a gray block at the top of the page – one example of that page below:
    https://www.repsplan.com/about-reps/

Those pages are in the editor as individual custom php files. But, when I change the text in the editor, it’s not changing on the site for some reason? I even went so far to check on the server and the files that are *supposed* to be changed (wp-content/themes/Essence-Blue/featured_page_about.php, for example) reflect the change in the actual file on the server, but it’s *still* not showing up as changed on the site? If I change actual PAGE content (the white sections of the page), it changes just fine.

    Help?

There is something weird going on when I log in with redirects – and maybe the files are actually somewhere else? I can’t seem to figure out what is going on?

If anyone could please, please help me, I’d so appreciate it. I’m afraid I’m beyond my technical expertise here.

    Thanks in advance –
