editor lags with longer text

    I have recently updated some of my sites to WP 4.2 and now when I try to enter longer text or edit an existing post item, the (plain text!) editor lags in a form that key strokes are delayed to about 1-2 seconds.

    This does not only happen with one WP installation on one server, but also on different sites with different hosts.

    Can anyone confirm this?
