Editor lag on huge articles

  • Hmmmmmm I’ve had this happen on my personal blog, but was able to resolve it by disabling certain plugins while editing. Granted, my posts aren’t as long as yours, wow congrats on the content length!

    Are you running anything like Grammarly, or the built in spell checker in Chrome? You can try disabling those temporarily while editing and it <i>may</i> alleviate some of this.

    You can also try increasing your memory_limit and post_max_size in your php.ini file.

    Also, try deactivating other plugins that run while you are editing. I know it seems strange, but you can always re enable them when you’re finished to make final edits if needed.
