I have been using WordPress for over a decade now and never had the problem with the Editor I do now. The Toolbar breaks off as I scroll down in the editor in post.

It becomes a sliding editor and one that hides the toolbar.

Further is hides the toolbar and is very difficult to use. The Visual and Text Editor will work for a while until I scroll down. But then the problems occur.

Has this been a problem for you? What is the fix? I use Genesis Framework with Theme.

    Thanks

Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fifteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

I found the issue, not too long after I posted. It was the Norton toolbar in Chrome, this toolbar is also in Firefox. But with Chrome it is the worst. I did not have to uninstall it. Just X it out to stop it from appearing on the admin editor page. As for themes, I use Genesis and that team works very hard at making sure all things are updated, safe, and work great with WordPress. I have not as yet found an issue with them or their themes when it comes to WordPress.

Thanks for the reply to my post though…
