editor icons cover the header template part

?am trying to edit the header template part for my twenty twenty four website. I deleted everything and just started with a Row within a Row, and buttons within that row. The problem is, when I add a button the editor icons pop up over top of the button, so I can’t click the button to add the text to it, nor can I see it to see if my styles look good or not. I have to click the parent Row in the list view to get it to go away. This is highly annoying. Is there a way to get it to go away while the elements in the header have focus? I don’t see a way to change the text of a button with these icons directly on top of them.
