This looks like a really nice plugin. I’m testing it right now, it works so far, but what I don’t understand is how to add a shortcode using TinyMCE.
I use TinyMCE Advanced. After installing the User Shortcode Plus, there seems to be no button “Add User Shortcode” like mentioned on the third screenshot on your plugin description.
    Am I missing something?

    Hello @marionfw,

I just tested with TinyMCE Advanced + User Shortcodes Plus and it appears to be working as intended with WordPress v4.7.3.

    Hi Kyle,

thanks for your proompt reply. I checked again, and the strange thing is: in an existing page of post, there is indeed the button as intended. But on a new post or page, there’s no button untill (the draft version of) the post of page is saved.
I checked both on my live site and an off line testing site I mainly use for testing new plugins, an it’s the same on both sites.

No big deal, and now I know, I can work around. Otherwise, really nice plugin!

Ah, new posts, ok. There seems to have been a bug with the TinyMCE button and new posts.

I just released v2.0.1, which resolves this issue.
