Editor cant add new User

    Hi!
    On a clients multisite network website a editor user is not able to add a new user inside a website (not network user).
    – editors have rights to create_users, delete_users, edit_users, list_users, manage_network_users, promote_users, remove_users
    – multisite network setting allows also “non super admin users” to add users.
    – i also tried to add this: editors have rights to manage_network_users

    sadly it wont let the editor add a new user.

    Hi,

    In general, you did all what WP may require to allow user to add new user at multisite setup. I suppose that some another plugin may block this. Try to deactivate all plugins and look if that will help.

    HAving the same issue, unable to give any role the add new user capabilities.

    Did you try deactivate all plugins and look if that will help. If Yes, you may isolate a problem activating plugins back one by one and make new test.
