    Good afternoon,

As an administrator, the plugin works fine, but an editor cannot upload/add images. He can click on upload image. Select image and insert, but then nothing happens. Can I adjust somewhere that the editor can also manage the portfolio?

    Hi,
    have the same problem.
Have selected all in ‘user role editor’, but the editor cannot do anything.
As editor, the portfolio-gallery menu shows only two submenus:
    – all galleries
    – add new gallery (don’t work as editor)
    All works fine as administrator

    Good morning,

I’ve been working on it for a long time. I have indeed installed members, but it only works if the editor is given management options. That means it can reach almost anything.

Now I have also installed menu-editor. I have indicated in the plugin menu-editor wherever the editor is not allowed to reach.

You just have to figure out that all the settings are correct and then it works.

    Hi Again,

With the User Role Editor plugin, you can assign permissions based on the screenshot – https://prnt.sc/mIwdYGN8LFhD

We are also using it and its working perefectly.

    Thanks

with ‘user role editor’ it will not work. The editor can not add/upload images to a filter gallery and can not create filters.

    My workaround:
Installed Members Plugin, give the editor the right to manage options.
Installed Adminimize Plugin and deactivate menus that the editor is not allowed to see.

This isn’t the right solution, but at least it works

Apologizing for mistake, for user role editor 1 more option you need to allow “manage options” then it will work perefectly.

    Thanks
