Hi, there is an error when the user is logged as an Editor and try to save txt file: “Unable to save “xyz.txt”. File type not allowed.”
When Admin change the same file, everything works fine.
I do not have yet any plugin for security or role editor, so it is not a problem.
I will be grateful for your help.

    Hi @dorotapl,

Its Bruce here, thanks for using File Manager, if I understand you correctly, the same file that an “Admin” role have access to, and “Editor” role does not have full access to it?

Have you tried to allow all permissions for that Editor role in these two tabs?

    Thank you.

    Kind regards,

Hi Bruce, thank you for quick response.

    I already found the solution:

There was such a problem because I had not filled the text area: Enter file extensions which user can be Uploaded.
I added .txt here and now everything works fine.

Thank you for the plugin. I tested different free file managers and in my opinion yours is the best one.

    Kind regards
    Dorota
