I hadn’t updated the plugin in about a year — I believe 3.91 was the version I updated from, but I don’t exactly recall.

After updating, all the code I created using the plugin is maintained in place (thank goodness), but the editor no longer loads correctly.

When I try to view the main plugin page, it reflects correctly that I have 3 published custom codes, but the list doesn’t display them, and instead displays a single item that reads:

“There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.

I tried rolling back to various versions, that didn’t work. I also tried deleting altogether, and reinstalling, also no luck. I finally tried adding a new custom code, since that option is still available, and I was able to view the editor screen and input code. When I pressed publish, I was taken to a standard WP error page with the same error as above. When I went back to the plugin screen, it now reads 4 published codes.

Thankfully, all the custom code still works and is still in place, so the site isn’t broken, but I’m not able to use the plugin to make further edits. Presumably I can edit the files directly in the custom css uploads folder, but that sort of defeats the point. Any suggestions for fixing this?
