• When attempting to insert a file link into a page or post in Internet Explorer, the editor always loses its place and inserts the shortcode right at the top, at the beginning of the post

I gather this can occur when the TinyMCE editor is being used with Internet Explorer, and it requires an extra line of code to tell the editor to reposition the cursor after it has lost focus.

This is an important issue for us, as our clients are a school where only Internet Explorer is available.
