Editing “content” of tailor elements does not work

    I have installed the new version of tailor 1.7.5. Suddenly, I experience the problem of not being able to edit the text in any of the tailor elements (boxes, hero panes etc.) anymore. I am able to open the tailor page, but once I click on “edit” of the content of an element (say a box), the field where normally text is entered does not appear (neither on the “text” tab nor on the “visual” tab). I am not able to see the text that was entered before and obviously cannot edit it.

    Strangely, any other changes made (border colour, effects etc.) can still be made. Furthermore, once the “content” field was opened, I cannot close it anymore – neither through “Apply” nor through the “x” in the top right corner of the “content”. The only solution was to close the tailor editor completely (“Save & publish” or “x” in the top left corner).

    Can anyone help to fix this problem? I should maybe also state that I am not an IT expert – so if anyone has simple step-by-step instructions, that would be great!

    Hi @aro12 –

    Are you seeing any errors in the console? (right click on the preview page and select Inspect).

    Which version of Tailor did you upgrade from?

    Hi Andrew,

    Indeed, I see error codes in the console (3-4, depending on the page). Found out that it is an event planner plugin that causes this problem. Therefore, I will disable the event plugin and keep using tailor.

    Great! I’m glad you found the offender.

    If you did want to keep using the event planning plugin alongside Tailor, getting to the root of the problem shouldn’t be difficult. If it’s important to you just let me know the name of the plugin and what the console errors were and I can take a look into it for you.
