Editing/changing Paypal account

  • I have the 2.3.10 free standard version of WC set up, but now want payments of products to go to a different Paypal account. Do I need to change anything more than my Paypal email? Do I need to enter my PP password anywhere?
    I’m not familiar with code. The debug setting has a long code: wp-content/uploads/wc-logs/paypal-3203969058ad98ff1e8229852ffb6673.log. Does this apply to the first PP account and does it need to be changed?

    Also, where can I find and edit the text of the automated Thank You notice?

  • That should be all you need to do, but make sure your paypal acccount has the same e-mail as the primary account. If you want to test it, you could even try make a transaction and refund yourself. Good luck!

    Thank you. It worked! Is there any way to remove the display of my email for the Order Complete page? (THe new PP account was made not using my usual biz email)

    Also any directions about where I can edit the Thank You in the “Order Received” page?

    I just discovered that although the payment went through using the new Paypal account, the purchaser isn’t receiving the product in their email. When I went back to the old Paypal account, it tested correctly and sent me an email with a link to the product. What might be the problem and how to fix it?
