Editing wp_register() link

I recently downloaded a custom plugin that will allow me to replace the default Meta widget with identical code and make desired edits without having to make them to the core files.

My main reason for wanting to do this, is to edit wp_register() and change the name from “Site Admin” to “My Account”.

Why? Well it’s a bit silly to show “Site Admin” to members who are redirected to /my-account when clicking on it. It’s misleading and some folks may not click on it assuming it actually leads to the admin panel.

I love the how the function works, just not the logic in its naming.
