Editing with updated WP

  • What happened to the easy block editing format with the WordPress update? I ended up uninstalling it so I could edit my own site without knowing code. Brizy makes no sense to me. Any insight on this issue or how to get the block editing back with the update?

  • Brizy is a 3rd party Visual Website Build that most likely shipped with your theme. You should contact the theme author on ways to disable it, if possible.

    The Block text editor is now built into WordPress 5.0 and no other plugins should be needed to activate it.

    download the classic editor plug in and it should let you use your old editors.

    Thank you! That Gutenberg editing is such a mess – I can’t insert [code] block, can't insert longer sentences and indent them. Don't even know why the editor is so small at all. Probably a lot of people consider moving away from WordPress already.
