Editing Widgets in Skirmish Sidebar

Its seems whenever I edit a text widget, in the a slightly modified child theme based on the Skirmish theme, sidebar the remaining text widget disappears from my webpage. This did not seem to happen before updating to version 3.9.
The disappeared text widget gets reclassified as inactive and only reappears under the Inactive Widget list if the tab in the Chrome Browser is refreshed. I can then reclassify the widget as active and give it its proper place number in the sidebar, but this seems to be extra work that should not be required.
