Editing values across bulk CSV files

    If I have imported hundreds of CSV spreadsheets to my WordPress site, which all feature a value I need to change (IE London to LDN)… how would you recommend I do this? Do I need to edit every individual CSV separately and reimport or is there a cleverer way? ??

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    You could in principal achieve this with a search/replace database query in SQL, but that’s not that easy. Therefore, the idea to export the tables to a CSV file, and then do the search/replace offline (e.g. in Excel or even a simple text editor), is probably the best solution.
