Editing the Wording (Leave a Reply) on a Comment Form

  • I am trying SO hard to find how to do this in 3.5.1 Theme Twenty Eleven.

    How do I change the words “Leave a Reply” in the pre formatted Comments Box?

    Having spent hours trying to work it out I spent more hours on the forum. It seems this has been a problem with all versions that has defeated better minds than mine. Why do they hide it so deep?

    Is there an easy way to get to those words?

    PS: Sorry if the answer is already out there. As I said, I have spent hours scouring for a recent thus relevant answer.

  • I think the way to do this would be to create a Child Theme and then edit the appropriate files there. Once you get to the point of editing after creating the Child if you are having trouble finding which file to edit I’m sure I or someone else here will be able to help you.
