There are some additional styles I would like to add to the style sheet for this plugin (not the style.css files that is part of the theme) but cannot seem to find the file within the WordPress dashboard environment. I can see the plugin’s PHP file but there is no CSS file for me to edit. I suppose I could go to my server directory and find the CSS file, but why can’t I edit it from within WordPress?

    Thank you kindly,

You do not want to edit any of the core plugin files (ever), because al your changes will be overwritten on it’s next update.

Just either use it’s hooks/filter or overwrite the default styling by using your own theme’s stylesheet.
