    I am new to this at 48 is a steep learning curve.
    I can upload free templetes to wordpress and have installed windows loive writer and is working fine so I can add posts from there and change templates…

    In my host in file manager i have: edit/code editor/ html editor
    wordpress: editor in apperance

    I can change the text on much of the template in wordpress…

    I havent been able to work out where to add to sub menu ie home/about..i would like to add content cont ect and be able to change txt…

    the question is is there any step by step info somewhere i have search with no luck….I am looking to find out where is the easiest place to edit a free template…is there any programs that allow this or must I edit the files in file manager with editor? i have looked in some files but having problems finding where i should be and how i should be doing it….sorry for the big post but would be great if someone could point me in right direction cheers bryan

    editing templated require SOME know-how
    it is not complicated, very easy actuall..
    And the best place to start learning is .. right HERE where you are now.
    (and also HERE and HERE)
    You do not need any special software ,just a good txt editor (notepad will also do…
    Just give a link to your site, your template, and ask specific questions , so people could help you achive what you need..
