Editing template of Widget

Hi! I’m working on a site with The Events Calendar plugin. I’ve been able to create new templates as this guide states: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/template-customization-example/

I tried to do the same with the list-widget template, but it’s not working. I’ve added the duplicate in the following folder: my_theme/tribe/events/widgets

Could you please help me with this? Thank you in advance!
