Editing Strip payment error codes

    Hello,

    I would like to edit the Stripe payment error codes as they sometimes appear incorrectly (i.e. card number too short, when it is actually fine). Could someone prompt me to where I can edit these?

    I hope you’re well today!

    The errors are issued directly by Stripe, we are not setting them. Stripe fields are generated by Stripe’s API libraries and everything “payment related” is actually handled by Stripe itself – we are only sending payment data to Stripe and fetching back results (whatever payment errors are given, they are from Stripe).

    This also applies to card validation – which is always performed by Stripe’s scripts and we can’t change Stripe’s validation behavior, I’m afraid.
