Editing site during migration

  • Hello, all – I have recently migrated my site to another host, from Bluehost. It was handled by the new host’s team. I have not received confirmation that the migration is complete, but the site is functional and all posts are intact (except one that I published AFTER I requested the migration). My question: Is it safe for me to add a post BEFORE I receive confirmation that migration is complete? Thanks in advance,

    Hey @jamesbrock19,
    It seems that the migration is not yet completed i.e., some files are still available to get migrated.
    If you are facing problems with new posts then you might need to communicate with your new hosts for confirmation regarding the migration as well as the issue.

    Now, as per your question, it is not recommended to process any modifications/updates on the website until the migration is completed since the data might not get stored in the database.
