editing sidebar links

  • OK obviously someone else installed WP for me and I am learning (painfully) as I go. I would like to edit the links on my sidebar (basically my blogroll)and add an HTML script there as well.

    Here is what I have done.

    I have tried going to Presentation –>Theme –> theme editor –> side bar …but whenever I try to make a change there I get this error.

    Not Acceptable
    An appropriate representation of the requested resource /wp-admin/theme-editor.php could not be found on this server.

    What am I missing?
