Editing screen shaking after WP update

I am also facing screen shaking issues on my blog site capcutonline If anyone from official’s of Kadence here let us know the solutions.

I am also have screen shaking issues as of this afternoon. Happened right after updating the Kadence theme.

My site is with WordPress.com, also hosted on WordPress.com, but I’m having the same issue when using the editor with the Chrome or Brave browsers. It does not happen when using the Microsoft Edge browser. I’ve tried other computers and it’s the same. I’ve also tried changing my practice blog to the newest theme, and the screen still shakes like crazy, only in the editor, and not on any other site. This is a compatibility issue with the Chrome Browser and the WordPress Editor, only since the Windows update yesterday. Here’s one of my sites: https://historicipswich.net/

I have updated to WordPress 6.7. While using the theme and a couple of plugins, I didn’t experience any shaking on the editor screen. You can see my screencast here – https://share.zight.com/QwuJg0dz

I also installed Rank Math as Joel is using it based on the Loom video. My screen did the issue whenever I click on a bloc/Paragraph block – https://share.zight.com/RBuRGOkX

@arhammabbas – your website also uses Rank Math.

Could anyone confirm if the editor will not shake if you temporarily deactivate Rank Math?

I am having the same problem with my website. The word editor is dancing left and right in an infinite loop after the new version update. Please fix this bug.

I have the same issue. Mine is caused by Grammerly chrome extension.

Thanks so much for posting/sharing @sdart101 I had the same problem and also the sinking feeling I was going to have to spend ages going through all the plug ins. I just turned Grammerly Chrome extension off, refreshed site and the shaking stopped!

Thank you. Turning off the Chrome Grammarly extension stopped the shaking on my site as well. Turning it back on caused the screen shaking to resume. But I don’t have the problem editing WordPress posts using the Microsoft Edge browser with the Grammarly extension. Somewhere in the interaction of the WordPress editor, Grammarly and the Chrome browser there is a problem. I have one page that I edit using the Classic Editor, and it doesn’t shake when using Chrome.

So I will have to use Edge until this problem is resolved. (My sites are hosted on WordPress.com using WordPress themes and I have not added any WordPress plugins).

I’m having the same problem as sdart101 and @johnhbati with Grammarly. If I turn the Grammarly Extension off in Chrome, the shaking stops.

I have found that the Firefox browser with the Grammarly extension is working without shaking. So I am using that a workaround for now.

Thanks for sharing your solution.

We tried replicating it on our test websites with the Grammarly Chrome extension active. But none on the team was able to replicate this issue though.

While I don’t encounter the issue on my website, could you tell me this info so I can better assess what the issue is?

Thanks for offering to help. You should also be aware I am using the Blocksy Child Theme. I’m wondering if it is some combination of Theme and Grammarly.

I’m using WordPress version 6.7. Below is a screenshot of the sever information (I don’t know why is it faded, but the information seems readable).

I appears that sometime in the last 2 hours, the problem has been fixed. I’m now able to edit on my website using Chrome with Grammarly enabled.
