Before the Network Admin was placed in WordPress with version 3.1 I was able to go into each multi-site blog and go into Appearance/Theme – Editor, in order to edit the theme for a particular blog.

Now in WordPress 3.1 all themes have been moved into the Network Admin, which means that they all use the same template. If I edit the theme that edit appears across every blog.

Is there a way to edit the theme individually per blog?

The reason why I ask is that I want to add Adsense ads onto the blog based upon Channels so I can keep track of which ad is making the most revenue.

  • They still used the same template before! If you edited ONE theme in 3.0, every blgo using that theme still got that edit. that;s the way it has always worked, way back to wpmu.

Then use an adsense plugin. on a per blog basis. the plugin should hook into spots in the theme.
