editing record in frond end list?

    Hi,

    would it be possible to edit records directly in a list in the front end?

    When people make a donation, we have to add the donation date to their record. That means a lot of scrolling using PDB in the back end.

    What I have in mind is to have a list of donators in alphabetical order in the front end, that also shows the field ‘donation 2016’; that field would then be accessible directly, so you can type the date in this field in the list without having to open the record of the individual donator.

    It’s possible, but it requires developing a custom list template with javescript to update the records.

    thanks, that’s beyond my knowledge for the time being, but I’ll put it on my wishlist for 2017 ??
