    Hi,

I would like to change the text “Post a comment”, which is visible in an h3-tag, on single pages/posts. I have searched through all my wordpress-files to try to locate where exactly this line of text is located, however have yet to find it.

I’ve checked comment-template.php, comment.php, wp-comments-post.php and any other files that are part of the theme I’m editing. Strangely, none of these include the h3-tag with the words “Post a comment”. Anyone know which file I should be looking in?

    Thanks!

  • What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

I’m using the theme “Blank Slate” by TidyThemes.

    What is in comments.php?

I finally found it! It was in one of the functions in the file “functions.php” in the theme folder. Strange that all other parts of the comments elements are defined in comments.php, comment.php and comment-template.php etc. Took me a good while to find it. Thanks for your help!
