• Hi,

I don’t know how to edit the book page template.
In the page settings, it proposes me “Default”, “Landing page”, “elementor Canvas”. And when a create a landing page, or elementor canvas, how can i connect them to book page content ? I’m hope i’m clear !

    Mik

The drop down on the page settings for template allows you to change the template used for book pages. The templates offered are what’s provided by your theme. The templates determine how the overall structure of the page looks, such as if there are side bars, etc.

The template does not dictate how the content of your book page appears. That is handled by MBM and is not customizable through the admin dashboard at this time.

Landing pages and elementor canvas templates are provided by your theme. The content of the page should still have your book page content — unless there is some kind of conflict between the theme and MBM.

Have you tried switching to one of those templates? What happens? Can you provide the link to your site so I can see it?

    Hi,

If i set “Elementor Canvas” in Elementor Builder page AND in “Elementor Canvas” a single book item backend, it displays only The book page item and ignores all non-MBM content i’ve added on this canvas.
If i set “Elementor Canvas” in Elementor Builder page BUT “by default” in a single book item backend, the browser ignores totally the MBM content and displays only Elementor Canvas and its own widgets content i’ve added.

So, is that possible to do something like that :
    [PAGE]
[BOOK PAGE ITEM TEMPLATE] –> Shortcode ?
[PERSONAL CONTENT] –> Elementor / Gutenberg
    [/PAGE]

The book template is too “naked”. I have to add personal elements like external links, text blocs etc.

    Thanks

    Mik

If you want to add custom content to the book page, you need to use one of the fields provided on the book page, such as Summary, Excerpt, or Additional Information, depending on where on the book page you want it to show up (Summary is at the top, Excerpt is in the middle, Additional Information is at the bottom). They all use a WYSIWYG editor so you can use whatever formatting/styling is supported by that.
