Editing page gone blank

  • Hi,
    My web page photos had vanished, you could see only the little blue squares instead of them, so I signed in. The editing page was totally blank and white, whatever I chose from the left sidebar. Can someone help? Has it been hacked? I copied the pages now and the source code, but can I still get my page info and editing possibilities back?

    Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Thanks so much, I’ll try those. It’ll take a bit of time for me to find out all that, so I’ll do it tomorrow. Weirdly enough I noticed that the only page that I can see is the “SL Plugins.” There I have only the Traffic manager, I tried resetting default values from settings but nothing happened. (I think you didn’t mean that, so I’ll try the other instructions tomorrow.)
