Editing of description not possible

    I can no longer edit descriptions of any marker.
    The edit screen is greyed out (both in ‘Visual’ and in ‘Text’ mode), I cannot place the cursor in the edit field. There is no error message.

    The problem exists since approximately 2 to 4 months. It has first been noticed about 2 weeks ago (today is February 10, 2016). I use version 3.10.3 of MapsMarker.

    In the edit mode, the text of the description is invisible. The text is still there in the database, as I can still see it on the website. See, for example, https://www.gaylinc.nl/bars-for-men/ . The descriptions are visible, but none of these descriptions are visible once I try to edit any of them.

    Connect or disconnecting from a layer remains possible. E.g. disconnecting a marker from a layer does not affect the text of the description.

  • Hi Jan,
    it seems likely that another plugin which might be enqueuing TinyMCE scripts to all admin pages and not just to its own might be causing this issue. Try to temporarily disabling all other plugins to verify that.

    Thank you.
    It turned out to be one of the plug-ins Customify or Content Cards. I disabled them, and now the edit field is accessible again.
