• Hi!

So I have everything configured such that Users can create the post type: post (with an automatic category), and custom post type: tripreport, both with custom fields. Quirky to get set up, but working!

Users can also edit post type: post with the edit link. However, they can’t edit the custom post type (the link doesn’t get updated to the FP edit page).

When looking at : https://wpfrontier.com/frontier-post-edit-link/ it states:
Frontier Post changes this link … to redirect to the Frontier Post edit form, using the get_edit_post_link filter, based on the capability settings.
    and
“If the posts type is different from post or page, the url is not changed”. So FP is working “as designed”. Given that I can set the custom post type as “allowed” in the settings for “Allowed Post Types”, why does FP not also change the edit URL?

Trying to approach this a different way, when I look at the display of : frontier_edit_form=”standard” and set frontier_list_post_types=”tripreport” I can get a list of the custom post types, and edit them, so it’s a workaround.
