    There is a link in the sidebar that is driving me crazy because I can’t find where it is listed.

    “Links of Interest” and under that
    Mortgage Law New York

    I want to delete it but can’t figure out where to do it. It’s not in Widgets. I looked at the Editor and can’t find it. I see it in source but how do I edit source?

  • It appears to be a links widget…looks like there are two of them…

    Does your theme provide for two sidebars? Does it allow custom widgets areas?

    If so, review theme options, if not review with theme dev. as it is would be in a custom page template. Search each of your theme’s page templates for the exact text string to find…

    If you just want to hide the widget use this at the very bottom of your stylesheet

    #_widget-3 {display: none !important;}

    Yes, I have 2 sidebars.

    Well, I tried to hide the widget but it didn’t work. That mortgage thing is still there.

    Is there any way I can get to edit the source?

    The CSS should work, it requires forcing a page refresh once added

    Also, review your plugins, do you have one like Link Words?

    I have LinkedIn, Text-link-ads, Linkworth. That’s it. I still think the best way would be to be able to edit the source file. I see it there loud and clear but I can’t get to edit it.

    deactivate LinkWorth and Text-link-ads temporarily – the link is placed in some manner and that maybe it.

    You’re right. It was a text-link-ad. I’m keeping it because they’re paying me.

    Now I feel like a blithering idiot.

    Thank you so much for clarifying this.
